3 Tigers commit to Lindsey Wilson College

Three Hopkinsville High School football players have committed to Lindsey Wilson College, according to Hoptown football coach Dustin Lopez.

Lopez announced via social media over the weekend that athlete Treston Kay will join teammates Artavius Moses and Amoni Johnson at Lindsey Wilson next season.

Kay played wide receiver primarily for the Tigers last year, recording a team-leading 539 yards and eight touchdowns. He also ran for 244 yards and three scores.

Kay also played defensive back and returned kicks and punts for the Tigers.

Moses had 66 total tackles including seven for loss from his linebacker spot.

Johnson was injured early in the 2024 season but came back to record 19 tackles in only five games.
