Five Hopkinsville High School football players have received recognition for the 2024 All-Western Kentucky Football Conference Team.
Seniors Treston Kay, Aiden King, Artavius Moses, and Quavie Catlett, along with junior James Bradley Jr were selected honorable mention by the conference coaches.
Kay was chosen as an athlete for the team. He rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns, caught 31 passes for 538 yards and eight scores, and returned three punts for scores. Kay also returned an interception and a fumble for a score.
Meanwhile, King was the Tigers’ quarterback and threw for 1,655 yards and 19 touchdowns this season. He also rushed for 419 yards and a team-leading seven scores.
Catlett was selected as an offensive lineman.
Moses was chosen as a running back and defensive end. He ran for 237 yards and a pair of scores and on defense he led the Tigers with 66 tackles, including seven for loss. He also caused four fumbles and recovered a pair.
Bradley was selected as a running back and defensive back. He led the Tigers in rushing with 464 yards and two touchdowns. He caught 37 passes for 399 yards and four touchdowns. As a defender, Bradley had 61 tackles and picked off one pass, returning it 88 yards for a score.
