Hopkinsville, University Heights Academy and Christian County got together for a boys’ Tri-team golf match Monday at Western Hills Golf Course.
Led by Wade Foster, the Tigers shot a 160 to defeat the Blazers (174) and Christian County (182.)
Foster earned medalist honors with a 37 over nine holes. Isaiah Wood, Henry Riggs and Ryan Martin each had a 41 for Hoptown. Matt Baker also played for the Tigers and scored a 48.
UHA was paced by Courtland Gibson’s 41 and Jackson Crick added a 43. Bryson Turner followed with a 44. Jackson Flynn and Waylon Johnson carded 46 and 51, respectively.
The second UHA squad scored a 211 and was led by Matthew Flynn’s 48. Nash McAfee and Lane Loden each shot a 54. Michael Flynn had a 55 and Lucas Torres finished at 58.
Christian County saw Tay Martinez and Aiden Lewis each shoot a 42 to lead the team. Peyton Hilton carded a 44, followed by Chris Adcock and Jaedon McMIllan at 54 and 59, respectively.
Clayton Dixon fired a 53 for Christian County and Taylor Malone also played for the Colonels.
