The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers dug themselves a 3-0 hole at halftime and dropped a 4-2 girls’ high school soccer match to host Lyon County Thursday night.
Kaylynn Lynch had a goal and an assist to pace Hopkinsville (1-1). Kaydon Coats also had a goal.
Coats also had a pair of shots hit the post inside the final 20 minutes.
In the JV match, the Lady Lyons took a 1-0 victory.
Hopkinsville returns to action at 10:30 a.m. Saturday against Paducah Tilghman at the Stadium of Champions.
