Christian County scored four times in the second half to blow open a close game and defeat host Trigg County 5-0 Tuesday night in a boys’ high school soccer match.
Wyatt Fleming scored in the 32nd minute to give the Colonels a 1-0 advantage.
In the second half, Christian Lopez had a pair of goals and Leland Creamer added a goal. The Colonels also took advantage of an own goal by the Wildcats to pad their lead.
Alex Hale had two assists and Jensen Nolte added an assist for Christian County.
Mason Malone had his third straight shutout in goal with six saves.
