In a battle between two of the top Region 2 volleyball teams, host Heritage Christian Academy swept past Caldwell County 3-0 Tuesday night.
Mya Goodwin had 10 kills, four aces, and 13 digs and Katie Cansler returned from illness to garner 10 kills, two aces, and three digs to power the Lady Warriors to the 25-14, 26-24, 25-17 win.
Grace Conley had seven kills and two blocks. Makenzie McCarty had four kills, 12 assists and seven digs. Allie Craft provided 16 digs and Bralee Fowler had two kills, three aces and a dig. Hadlee Hayes had 15 assists and 10 digs.
Heritage improves to 14-5 on the season and will play at Webster County on Thursday night. Caldwell slipped to 12-7.
