Heritage Christian falters at Christian Fellowship

Jason Leek had 37 points but it wasn’t enough as the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors fell 81-60 Saturday at Christian Fellowship.

HCA (5-14) got off to a quick start with Leek scoring 14 points and the Warriors took a 25-18 first quarter lead.

The Warriors continued to lead 33-29 at halftime but Christian Fellowship outscored the Warriors 23-10 in the third quarter to grab control of the contest.

Leek scored 12 points in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to rally the Warriors.

The Eagles shot 35 free throws to 11 for the Warriors.

HCA is scheduled to play Tuesday night at Trigg County.
