Hoppers face Henderson as OVL season nears end

The Hoptown Hoppers begin their final week of the 2025 regular season tonight as they head to Henderson to take on the Flash.

Hoptown improved to 14-19 Saturday night by rallying to defeat the host Fulton Railroaders 5-1 in a game that was resumed from earlier in the season.

Myles Denton’s three-run home run in the fifth inning propelled the Hoppers to their third straight win. Joe King earned the pitching win for Hoptown.

The second game Saturday was rained out and will not be rescheduled.

The Hoppers are chasing fourth place and a home playoff game. They are currently 2 ½ games behind Henderson for the fourth-place spot.

The next Hoptown home game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday against the Full Count Rhythm. Airtime is 6:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
