For University Heights Academy baseball star Hayden Hunt, a long-awaited decision has been made and now the Blazers’ star can focus on his senior year.
Hunt, a four-sport star, announced on social media over the weekend that he has committed to play baseball at Indiana State University.
The pitcher/shortstop led the Blazers to the Region 2 championship game last spring by hitting .405 with 20 RBI and three home runs. He also went 3-3 on the mound with a 1.82 ERA while striking out 44 batters in 34 innings.
Hunt currently is playing golf and soccer for the Blazers and plans to play basketball for UHA this winter.
