The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons and Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors had to go five sets but the host Lady Falcons held on for a 3-2 District 8 volleyball win Tuesday night.
HCA (11-13, 2-1) won the first two sets 25-22 and 25-18 only to see the Lady Falcons come back for three straight wins 25-19, 25-17, 16-14.
Fort Campbell’s win shakes up the District 8 standings as HCA slipped to 2-1 while the Lady Falcons are now 3-2 and moved into third place.
Bralee Fowler led HCA with 13 kills, 24 digs, and four aces. Hadlee Hayes added 10 kills, 16 digs, and two assists.
Taylor Barbee also had five kills and 19 digs and Makenzie McCarty added five kills, 28 assists, and 15 digs.
Sophomore Emma Dalka had seven kills and six digs for HCA, which is scheduled to play host to University Heights Academy Saturday afternoon in a key District 8 match.
