South Warren used a big fourth quarter to pull away from University Heights Academy 90-74 in a boys’ high school basketball game Friday night in Bowling Green.
The Spartans led 21-15 after one quarter and pushed the lead to 43-32 at halftime.
However, the Blazers who were playing their first game under Coach Jordan Grace, only trailed 58-50 entering the final period.
Unfortunately for UHA, the Spartans’ offense started cooking and put up 32 points in the fourth quarter to get the win.
Keshawn Moore led the Blazers with 32 points and Nash McAfee added 15. Ryan Luckey also was in double figures for UHA with 12 points.
Jaxen Decker led five Spartans in double figures with 25 points.
The Blazers return to action Monday at home against Murray.
