The Hopkinsville Tigers crushed host Fort Campbell 92-36 Wednesday night in a boys’ District 8 basketball game.
Hoptown led 34-10 after one quarter and were never challenged in the game.
Four players reached double figures for the Tigers, led by TaShawn Quarles’ 18 points. Jayden Battle and Jayon Bass each had 12 points and Layton Giltner added 10 points.
Hopkinsville shot 62.2 percent from the field on 43-of-68 shooting.
The Tigers improved to 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in district play.
Fort Campbell fell to 2-2 on the season and 0-1 in district play. Garrett Vannatta scored 10 points to pace the Falcons.
Hopkinsville returns to action Saturday night at the Toyota of Hopkinsville Holiday Classic against Todd County Central. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. with airtime at 7:15 p.m. on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.
