The Christian County Colonels got a huge game from Tom Johnson and claimed third place in the Planet Fitness Holiday Invitational by routing Washington County 73-47 on Monday at Central Hardin.
Johnson scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers to lead the Colonels, who were playing without starters Zion Acree and Zyon Wharton.
Rahsean Stevenson and Jay Henderson added 16 and 14 points, respectively for the Colonels, who improved to 6-5 on the season.
Christian County is off until Jan. 6 when the Colonels will play host to Webster County as part of a girls’/boys’ doubleheader. Airtime will be 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
