This week’s Jennie Stuart Health-Michael Venable State Farm Players of the Week is Heritage Christian Academy freshman Ava DeJager.
DeJager scored the winning bucket ahead of the buzzer in the Lady Warriors’ 26-25 win over Cannelton, Indiana, last weekend at the Autism Shootout.
She also had 10 points and 16 rebounds in HCA’s loss to Louisville Collegiate earlier in the day.
