Five local bowlers have qualified to participate in the USBC Junior Gold Championships this July in Minnesota.
According to Heritage Christian Academy Head Bowling Coach Amanda Windle, the Lady Warriors’ Alayna Windle and Braelyn Windle qualified for the tournament last November.
Christian County High School bowlers Christian Lane, Brycen Newcom, and Michael DeArmond qualified on Sunday at Southern Lanes in Hopkinsville.
It is the only tournament of its kind within a two-hour radius of Hopkinsville. The tournament attracted bowlers from Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Ohio.
