The Hopkinsville Tigers and Christian County Colonels will meet likely for the final time on the basketball floor tonight with the Boys’ District 8 Tournament championship on the line.
The Tigers enter the game as the top seed with a 16-13 record. The Colonels have won seven of eight games and are the No. 2 seed with a 13-12 mark.
Hopkinsville swept the season series 61-49 and 62-58.
Tonight’s game also is the final basketball game at Tiger Gym, which opened in 1968.
Tickets for tonight’s game are $10 and are cash-only at the door.
Tipoff for tonight’s game is at 6 p.m. with airtime at 5:45 p.m. The Hopkinsville broadcast will be on 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP. The Christian County broadcast will air on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
