The Hoptown Hoppers return to the baseball diamond tonight as they take the long trip to Fulton to take on the last-place Railroaders in Ohio Valley League baseball action.
Hoptown enters the game in second place in the OVL with a 23-10 record. Fulton is 10-26 and has lost five straight games.
The Hoppers will end the regular season Saturday night at home against fifth-place Madisonville at 6:30 p.m. Free tickets for Saturday night’s game are available at All Kleen Services and AKS Flooring. It will be “Jersey off their back” night as fans can bid on their favorite players’ jersey and take the shirt home after the game. Fans can bid by calling or texting 270-305-4350 and bid at Saturday’s game.
Money raised will help the team purchase or rent a new team bus for next season.
First pitch for Saturday night’s game is at 6:30 p.m. with airtime at 6:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
