We’ve got a local celebrity for our Pet of the Week! Meet Luna, the stray border collie mix that captured the hearts of numerous community members after being on the run for several weeks. Now, she’s up for adoption, but she will need director approval, and a lot, a lot of patience, as she is still a bit scared. But she’s got a sweet soul underneath that anxiety.
Not to be outdone, this big boy is Sam! Sam is 2-years-old and when we say a big boy, we mean it; and all that bigness holds an even bigger heart. Calm and gentle, he would be a great family cat, but he doesn’t get along with other animals, so he’s looking for a family where he can be the center of attention–as he truly deserves.
