Kamron Snyder, age 24 of Lima, Ohio, was arraigned in Christian Circuit Court on Wednesday after he was charged with murder in relation to the shooting death of Khailil Buckner in February.
The shooting occurred at a residence on North McPherson Avenue, and at the scene officers found Buckner with a gunshot wound to the chest. Synder was arrested in Allen County Ohio and extradited back to Kentucky.
In court, Snyder’s Defense Attorney Sean Pharr says he and Commonwealth’s Attorney, Maureen have received evidence such as officer body camera footage and now they are waiting for forensic evidence. Christian Circuit Judge, Andrew Self says they can schedule a pretrial conference after they receive additional evidence.
Snyder will reappear in court on July 3 for a pretrial conference.
