It was another busy day on the links for several area golf teams on Wednesday.
At Boots Randolph Golf Course in Cadiz, University Heights Academy’s Conlee Lindsey continued her hot start to the season. The senior shot a 1-over par 72 to take second place in the individual competition. Hickman County’s Katie Abernathy was first with a 1-under 70.
The Lady Blazers had a team score of 362 to take third place in the tournament.
Allie Sandifer had an 85. Campbell Lindsey and Caroline Tucker shot 93 and 112, respectively.
Hopkinsville’s Cate Blane also had a good day at the tournament. The Lady Tigers’ lone representative had a 78.
Meanwhile, the Christian County boys’ golf team competed at the Hopkins County Central Invitational Wednesday at the Madisonville Country Club.
Drew Fincham led the way for Christian County with an 84. Tay Martinez had a 93 and Peyton Hilton carded a 94. Jaedon McMillan and Chris Adcock finished at 114 and 122, respectively.
