Arvin’s double-double sends Warriors to victory

Heritage Christian Academy’s Noah Arvin scored 30 points and pulled down 18 rebounds to lead the Warriors to a 73-57 boys’ high school basketball victory over the visiting Russellville Raiders homeschool team on Monday night.

Arvin hit on 10 of 20 attempts from the floor and also went 7 for 11 from the free throw line. The junior center also added five blocks in the game as HCA improved to 3-21 on the season.

The Raiders led 7-6 with 3:53 left in the first quarter but the Warriors went on a 21-4 run to take a 27-11 lead. HCA led 34-17 at halftime.

Russellville was able to slice the lead to 62-54 with 1:54 to go but that was as close it would get.
