Todd County Central used a big third quarter to defeat host Hopkinsville 68-56 Monday night in a girls’ high school basketball game.
The Lady Rebels trailed 27-23 at the half, but outscored the Lady Tigers 26-12 in the third quarter to take control of the game.
Lee Lee Love led Hoptown with 18 points and LaShanti Wilson added 12. The Lady Tigers slipped to 3-3 on the season and return to action Thursday at home against Muhlenberg County.
Todd Central was led by Jordan Shemwell’s 24 points. Ja’Miya Kay and Alexis Taylor provided 19 and 18 points, respectively for the Lady Rebels, who improved to 4-3.
