University Heights Academy advanced to the Boys’ Region 2 All “A” Soccer tournament title game after a dominating semifinals performances Tuesday night at Givens Field.
The Blazers scored seven times in the first half and rolled past visiting Caldwell County 8-0.
Cal Givens had a hat trick and an assist and Hayden Hunt provided a pair of goals to lead the Blazers. Cadence Gibson, Lincoln Hauret, and Jack Cavanah also scored and Hauret added three assists on the night.
Hayden Fitzsimmons earned the shutout in goal. He had help from his defense as he only had to make one save on the night.
UHA (3-0) advances to Thursday night’s championship game against Fort Campbell, which is set for 5:30 p.m. at Lyon County.
