University Heights Academy’s boys’ soccer team picked up its third victory of the week on Thursday night with a hard-fought 4-2 win over visiting Calloway County.
Hayden Hunt had a pair of goals and Cal Givens and Hugh Sisk added a goal each as the Blazers defeated one of the top teams in Region 1
UHA led 3-1 at halftime and held off a Lakers’ comeback in the second half.
Ryan Luckey and Clayton Lester each had assists for the Blazers, who improved to 8-1 on the season.
Hayden Fitzsimmons earned the win in goal with three saves.
UHA is scheduled to return to action on Monday night at Fort Campbell in a District 8 match.
