Blazers drop 2 games at Henderson County tourney

University Heights Academy dropped both of its games over the weekend in the Faupel Automotive Group Colonel Basketball Classic at Henderson County.

On Sunday, the Blazers got 33 points from Keyshawn Moore but fell 71-58 to Louisville DeSales. Hayden Hunt added 12 points for UHA.

UHA trailed only 52-49 entering the final quarter but was outscored 19-9 in the period. Cameron Bischoff had seven of his game-high 35 points in the quarter.

On Saturday, the Blazers fell 67-56 to Louisville Atherton, although Moore had 30 points. Tabor Vincent added nine.

UHA drops to 3-5 on the season and will open Region 2 All “A” Tournament play Jan. 6 at Fort Campbell.
