A news conference is scheduled for around 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Caldwell County High School to announce the school’s new boys’ basketball coach.
An email from Caldwell County Athletics Director Jeff Riley, said the new coach would address the Tigers’ basketball team around 3:15 and meet with the local media following.
Chuck Mitchell resigned following the 2025-26 season after Caldwell finished 14-16.
