Carlton named CCHS Tigers Offensive Line coach

The staff of the Christian County High School Tigers first football team is coming together quickly.

Head Coach Dustin Lopez announced on social media Wednesday that he has hired Quinton Carlton as the team’s offensive line coach.

Carlton is a Miami native, who has resided in Hopkinsville most of his life. He is a graduate of Hopkinsville High School and has five years coaching experience, including three as an assistant and two as head offensive line coach at his alma mater.

Carlton’s hiring comes after Lopez announced earlier this week that he has hired Rusty Goble as the team’s offensive coordinator and Blake Ladson as the team’s quarterbacks coach and passing coordinator.

Lopez said he plans to announce more coaching hires in the coming days. He also added that a parent/booster club meeting for parents of anyone interested in playing football for the new Christian County High School on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Hopkinsville High School cafeteria. This meeting is for current eighth graders thru 11th graders.

The Christian County Tigers will play their inaugural season in 2026.
