CCHS archery team competes at NASP State Bulleye Tournament

Sophomore Audrina Croney had the top score for the Christian County High School archery team that competed over the weekend in the NASP State Bullseye Tournament in Louisville. 

Croney shot a 274 out of 300 to edge teammate, junior Jayleigh Campbell, who had a 272 for the top spot on the Lady Colonels’ scoreboard. Both Croney and Campbell had 12 Tens. 

Croney finished 257th out of 1,567 archers in the girls’ tournament. Campbell finished 303rd

Other Lady Colonels competing included Karma Moore (267), Azelyn Doan (262), Caylin Berman (260), Hadassah Elkins (259), Dakeyiah Catlett (256), Arabella Triplett (252), Natalia Filidei (246), AliAnna Bailey (237), Gabriella Rose (232), Jeanaria Walker (229), and Trinity Robertson (226). 

Meanwhile, senior Sam Norwine scored the highest for the Colonels, with a 265. Norwine, who had 13 Tens, finished 144th out of 293 boys’ archers in the tournament. 

Other boys competing for Christian County included Brody Jackson (260), Preston Smale (256), Tobias Webber (251), Jaxson Hall (250), Logan Bruce (249), Josue Benitez (245), Dakari Harris (244), Dominic Arevalo (238), and Brayden Deluga (226). 

Christian County scored 3,134 points and is listed as a National Qualifier on the NASP website.
