Webster County and Christian County split a girls’/boys’ high school tennis match Tuesday afternoon at the Ruff Park tennis courts.
The Colonels won all three matches against the Trojans. Noah Davis and Jeffery Joiner won their singles matches 8-0. Cooper Fort and Davis teamed to win the doubles match 8-0.
In the girls’ match, Ashlea Russell was the lone singles winner for the Lady Colonels. Russell defeated Mylee McDonald 8-5 as the Lady Trojans won six of seven singles matches.
The Lady Colonels took all four doubles matches on the day.
