The Christian County Middle School sixth grade football team got a pair of touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown from Elijah Isom to defeat Russellville 28-6 Saturday to win the Western Kentucky Youth Football League championship at Logan County.
Jeremiah Cook had a touchdown reception and returned a kickoff for a score. Emarion Merritt also had a touchdown catch for CCMS.
The team advanced to the title game with a hard-fought 14-6 victory over Logan County in the semifinals last Monday night.
