Early foul trouble plagued host Heritage Christian Academy, who dropped a 56-42 boys’ high school basketball game to Clarksville Christian School on Monday night.
Three starters picked up two fouls in the opening quarter as the Warriors fell behind 23-11.
The Centurions eventually pushed the lead to 49-28 in the third quarter. But, the Warriors, who dropped to 0-6 on the season, kept battling and drew within 52-40 with 3:47 to play.
However, that was as close as they could get as Clarksville Christian picked up the win.
Noah Arvin had 12 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists to lead the Warriors. Aaron Hensley added 11 points for HCA, which returns to action tonight at Community Christian Academy.
