Clarksville uses a 21-point 3rd quarter to pull away and defeat the Hopkinsville Tigers Friday night 35 to 14

The Hopkinsville Tigers traveled to Clarksville High on Friday night to battle the Wildcats. James Dalrymple scored on the 2nd play of the game for the Wildcats to give them a 7-0 lead with 10:50 to go in the 1st quarter of play. That would be his first of 2 touchdowns on the night.

On the Tigers first series of the night, they use a 10 play 73-yard drive for their first score of the night on a 1-yard run by Aiden King. That score would tie the game at 7.

Dalrymple’s 2nd score of the night would give the Wildcats a 14 to 7 lead at halftime.

The Wildcats would score three touchdowns in the 3rd quarter and led 35 to 7 at the end of 3.

The Tigers last score of the night would come with 1:54 to go on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Aiden King to Deavery Ramey.

The Wildcats improve to 4-0 on the season while the Tigers fall to 1 and 3 on the year.

The Tigers begin district play next week at home against Paducah Tilghman.
