SCHOOLS:
Out of an abundance of caution and due to the high wind warning forecast for our area tomorrow, Christian County Public Schools has cancelled in person classes for Friday, January 12. Friday will be a Non-Traditional Instruction Day, (NTI) meaning students will be expected to complete Day 1 of their NTI assignments. All extra-curricular activities, practices, and games are also canceled for Friday.
Hopkins County Schools will be closed Friday, Jan. 12. Students are advised to complete their HCS@Home assignments for Day 1.
OTHER:
The monthly food distribution from PACS for Christian County Seniors has been postponed until January 24 due to the weather.
The AERIE 3423 Pot Luck Meal set for Friday, Jan. 12 has been cancelled.
