The Christian County High School Colonels’ wrestling team honored its final group of seniors on Thursday night before a dual match with visiting Russellville.
The Colonels honored seniors Evan Graham, Brodie Smith, Deacon Harrison, Dane Miller, Treshawn Crenshaw, and Cayden Hayden.
The Lady Colonels honored Kira Caldwell before the girls’ and boys’ matches.
For the Lady Colonels, Christian County defeated the Lady Panthers 36-12.
Saoirse Brandenberg won by pin at 152 pounds. Keenah Welch, DeNaejahi Allen, Avah Miller, Caldwell, and Aaliyah Henderson also picked up victories for the Lady Colonels.
Meanwhile, the Colonels rolled past the Panthers 74-6.
Seniors Miller, Harrison, Smith, Graham, and Crenshaw earned victories for Christian County.
Also picking up wins for the Colonels were Malachi James, Anthony Velasco, Hunter Jorgenson, Braylan Patla, Marquis Hart, Noah Pulsinelli, Joshua Cohoon, and Nathan Harrison.
The match is the last regular-season home match in the storied program, which will consolidate with Hopkinsville High School next season.
