Dawson Springs High School senior guard Rex Blue has been named the 2025 Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches Region 2 Boys’ Player of the Year.
Blue, a senior guard, averaged 21 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this season while leading the Panthers to a 15-10 record entering Friday night’s game against Logan County.
The Panthers’ star connected on 89 of 258 three-point attempts this year for 34.5 percent.
Blue will be a candidate for the 2025 Kentucky Mr. Basketball Award.
