Final CCHS Colonels football schedule released

The final Christian County High School Colonels football schedule has been released by the Christian County Public Schools.

The Colonels will play four home games including the opener against Clarksville Northeast on Aug. 23.

Other home games include McKenzie, Tenn. (Sept. 5), Daviess County (Sept. 12) and likely the final game against Hopkinsville (Oct. 24).

The Tigers also will be a district game as Hoptown moves into the Class 6-A, District 1 this season.

Christian County will play at Mayfield (Aug. 29) and have four straight road games at Caverna (Sept. 26), South Pittsburg, Tenn. (Oct. 3), Henderson County (Oct. 10) and McCracken County (Oct. 17).

The regular season will conclude Oct. 31 at Paducah Tilghman.

District games in addition to Hopkinsville are Henderson County and McCracken County.

Hoptown released its schedule earlier this year and WHOP already reported on that slate.

Christian County and Hopkinsville will consolidate to make the Christian County Tigers in the 2026 season.
