For the fourth time this season, former Hopkinsville High School baseball player Easton McGee has been recalled to join the Milwaukee Brewers.
McGee, a 6-foot-7 right-hander, was brought up to the Brewers from their Triple-A affiliate Nashville Sounds on Tuesday.
In three stints with Milwaukee this season, McGee has made five appearances and pitched seven innings. He has seven strikeouts and three walks and has allowed five hits and two runs.
McGee’s ERA with the Brewers is 2.57.
The Brewers are currently in first place in the NL Central with a 64-43 record. They lead the Chicago Cubs by two games entering today.
