George, Walton lead UHA past Fort Campbell

University Heights Academy used a strong performance from its two stars to roll past Fort Campbell 81-39 boys’ high school basketball win on Post Thursday night.

Tylin George had 34 points and Elijah Walton added 26 for the Blazers, who picked up their first win of the year to improve to 1-5 and 1-0 in District 8 play.

Walton scored 14 of his points in the first quarter as the Blazers jumped out to a 21-9 lead after one period. George put 12 of his points in the second quarter and the Blazers extended their advantage to 40-20.

Anthony Tyreek led the Falcons (1-5, 0-1) with 19 points and Israel Dillard added 13.

UHA returns to action Saturday against Evansville Central at Bosse High School in Evansville.
