Jonathan Hart hit eight 3-poiners and had 26 points and Jonovan Leavell added 21 points and the host Hopkinsville Tigers routed Todd County Central 79-59 Monday night in a a boys’ high school basketball game.
The Tigers jumped to a 22-13 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Leading 58-48 after three quarters, Hoptown (5-10) outscored the Rebels 21-11 in the final frame.
James Bradley Jr., added 16 points for Hopkinsville, which returns to action Thursday at home against University Heights Academy at 6 p.m. The F&M Bank Pregame show will air at 5:45 p.m. on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.
Todd Central fell to 1-15 and will play host to Greenwood tonight. Brett Harris, Devin Schutt, and Antavion Shemwell all led the Rebels against Hopkinsville with 10 points each.
