HCA cross country team competes at Arrowhead invite

Heritage Christian Academy took a short-handed squad to the Arrowhead Invitational cross country meet Saturday at Union County High School.

Aaron Hensley was the top Warrior on the course as he finished 33rd overall in the boys’ 5,000-meter race in a time of 19:36.

Meanwhile, teammate Cadyn Travis was 39th with a time of 19:54.

Also running for the Warriors were Ben Hensley (80th, 24:28) and Kollin Stokes (94th, 33:07).

In the girls’ Varsity race, Genna Calhoun was the lone Lady Warrior in the race. She finished 46th in a time of 33:55.

In the girls’ middle school 3,000-meter race, Jovie Hensley finished 27th in a time of 16:57.
