Powell won the Kentucky Christian Athletic Conference State Golf Tournament last week by four strokes with an 80.
WHOP Sports Director Joe Wilson spoke to Powell this week about that win and what led him to begin playing golf.
Powell plans to attend Eastern Kentucky University after high school graduation.
