Scoring was not an issue for Heritage Christian Academy and Lyon County when the two teams met in a boys’ high school soccer match Thursday night in Eddyville.
However, it was the Lyons who came out on top 7-6 to earn their first victory of the season.
Kallan Davis had five goals and Lucas West and Jayden Nichols each scored one for HCA (1-5). Davis also had an assist. Lucas Weiss also provided an assist for the Warriors.
Cayden Nowak had 20 saves in goal.
