HHS’s Littleton wins title at Armstrong Classic

Hopkinsville High School’s wrestling team competed in the Armstrong Duals at Caldwell County High School on Saturday.

Jaylin Littleton took home the 165-pound championship after going 5-0 on the day.

Eighth grader Christian Johnson went 4-1 on the day as did Juan Cannon.

Others who competed for the Tigers included Braden Brison (2-3), Jayden White (2-3), Nicholas Herrerra (2-3), Andrew Krat (2-3), Mchale Manning (3-2), Henry Caudill (2-3), and Alden Marshall (3-2).

In the girls’ event, Hopkinsville’s Rehanna Walker finished 4-2 on the day in the 114-pound division to lead the Lady Tigers.

Monique Carlos (2-3), Trinity Lopez (1-2), Isabel Walker (0-2), and Anna Clark (0-2) also competed for Hopkinsville.

Hoptown will be back in action Saturday at the Christian County Invitational.
