Hoppers announce 4 more players over the weekend

With less than three weeks before opening night for the Hoptown Hoppers, the organization announced six more players for the 2026 roster.

Saturday, the Hoppers announced catcher/second baseman Karsyn Knowles, who played at Vol State Community College will join the Hoppers this summer.

They also announced outfielder Reed Hayes, from the University of Indianapolis. 

Sunday, Hoptown announced right-handed pitcher Hudson “Zach” Hamilton from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and second baseman Kade Wall of the United States Sports Academy, who is a Russellville native. 

Hamilton went 5-1 with a 4.96 ERA with 44 strikeouts and 18 walks this spring.

Wall hit .263 with four doubles and 12 RBIs this spring for the Eagles.

On Monday, Wall’s teammate, Dom Hartman was added to the roster. Hartman, a third baseman, hit .402 with six home runs and 43 RBI to lead the Eagles in both categories.

The Hoppers also announced that Vol State outfielder Easton Beaty would suit up for the Hoppers this summer.

The Hoppers’ season opener is scheduled for May 29 at home against the Madisonville Miners. All home games in 2026 will be played at Hopkinsville High School.
