Hoppers, Flash set for doubleheader tonight

The Hoptown Hoppers are watching the skies closely today as they are scheduled to take on the Henderson Flash in a doubleheader to start at 5 p.m. today.

Weather permitting, the Hoppers and Flash will play a pair of seven inning games tonight. The first game is a makeup from a June 6 contest that was rained out. The second game is the regular scheduled game today at Christian County High School.

Hoptown has won two straight games and is 3-9. Their game Tuesday night at Fulton was rained out.

Henderson is in first place in the OVL standings with a 7-3 record. Their game Tuesday at Madisonville also was rained out.

The Flash, who have not played since Friday due to weather, have won the previous two meetings this season with the Hoppers.
