Hoptown spring grid scrimmage moved to tonight; CCHS starts spring practice today

Due to inclement weather expected on Tuesday afternoon, the Hopkinsville High School football spring scrimmage game has been moved to this afternoon at 4:45 p.m.

The game will be played at the Tigers’ practice field behind the high school and is free to attend.

Hopkinsville will be moving to Class 6-A in their final season before the Tigers consolidating with Christian County High School in 2026.

Meanwhile, the Christian County High School football coach Ethan Atchley said his team is expected to start spring drills today at its practice field.

The Colonels are coming off a 1-10 season and must replace several key members of last year’s team.
