The Hopkinsville Tigers completed their Florida trip with an 11-0, five-inning loss to Hancock County Thursday in a high school baseball game.
The Tigers slipped to 4-5 overall and helped the Hornets with five errors on the day.
Hancock scored three runs in the top of the first using three hits, a hit batter and a Hoptown error.
But the third inning was the deciding factor, as Hancock scored seven times using four hits, three hit batters, a walk, and an error to push the lead to 10-0.
The Hornets tallied one run in the top of the fourth.
Hopkinsville had eight hits on the day with Chase Fort leading the way with two singles.
Gavin Mitchell suffered the pitching loss for the Tigers, who return to action Monday at home against Trigg County.
