The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers fell to 0-2 on the season with a 70-48 loss at home to Webster County on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Tigers struggled with cold shooting and turnovers throughout the game.
Shooting was not a problem for the Lady Trojans, who blitzed Hoptown with several long-range shots to open up a 22-10 lead after one quarter. Webster wasn’t challenged the rest of the way.
Josie Cardwell had 31 points for Webster to lead all scorers. She had six three-pointers, including four in the first period.
Serenity Ewing had 15 points and Laelah Watkins added 10 for the Lady Tigers, who return to action Tuesday night at home against Apollo.
