Lady Colonels fall short against McCracken

The Christian County Lady Colonels dropped a 58-53 girls’ high school basketball game to host McCracken County Saturday in the Holiday Hoopla Classic.

McCracken led 28-20 at the break and extended its led to 45-33 entering the final quarter before the Lady Colonels attempted a comeback.

Unfortanately, the Lady Mustangs hit eight-of-12 free throws in the final quarter to seal the win.

Anaysia Bagwell had 19 points and Carliah Hobson added 12 for Christian County, which fell to 2-2 on the season.

The Lady Colonels will play host to Bowling Green Tuesday night in a girls’/boys’ doubleheader. Airtime will be at 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
