The Christian County Lady Colonels turned up the pressure and hammered visiting Fort Campbell 75-10 in a girls’ District 8 basketball game Wednesday night.
Christian County forced 15 turnovers in the first quarter and raced out to a 36-4 lead.
The Lady Falcons were held scoreless in the second quarter and led 53-4 at halftime. The running clock began at the start of the second half.
Ten Lady Colonels scored in the game with Anaysia Bagwell leading the way with 20 points. Genesis McGee and Carlie Hobson each scored 12 points for Christian County, which improved to 9-9 overall.
Fort Campbell slipped to 3-7 on the season.
Christian County is back in action Friday night at home against Murray.
